After 20 weeks of starting Lifebook 2018, and losing track after 3 weeks, I have decided that it was time to pick the lessons up again. I’m not doing all lessons, just picking and choosing at the moment as free time is always a rare thing for me.
I have been inspired full blast with weeks 5 and 6 lessons, and decided to have a go this bank holiday weekend.
Inspired by Juna Biagioni’s lesson, The Custodian (I only did a portrait in her style of drawing; I decided to leave the textured background bit for another project):
I’m really pleased with the result. I used pencil bars for this, but, after having so much fun creating a portrait/face this way, I really want to get a set of hard pastels like Juna uses for this project as it looks like it would allow me greater smudgeability.
Inspired by Tamara Laporte’s lesson A Heart Full of Happy:
More to come when I get time to play…
